Petrol Bomb Hurled at BJP Leader’s Clinic in Bathinda, Sparks Panic in Area

Bathinda: A petrol bomb attack was reported late at night at the clinic of BJP leader and renowned physician Dr. Tarsem Garg in Punjab’s Bathinda city. The incident created panic among residents, while police have launched an investigation into the matter.

According to initial reports, two unidentified youths arrived outside the clinic on a motorcycle. One of them allegedly set fire to a bottle filled with petrol and hurled it towards the clinic before fleeing the scene with his accomplice. The loud explosion-like sound alarmed local residents, who immediately informed the police.

The attack caused damage to some vehicles and other property parked outside the clinic. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident. Police teams, along with forensic experts, reached the spot and began collecting evidence.

Authorities are currently examining CCTV footage from nearby areas to identify the attackers and trace their movements. As of now, the motive behind the attack remains unclear, and investigators are exploring all possible angles.

Speaking on the incident, Dr. Tarsem Garg expressed concern and stated that he had no known personal enmity with anyone. He urged the police to identify and arrest those responsible at the earliest.

The incident has raised questions about security arrangements in the city. Police officials have assured that the culprits will be tracked down soon and strict action will be taken against them as the investigation progresses.
