Chandigarh: Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu has denied allegations that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had any involvement in the reported removal of the film Satluj from an OTT platform. He described the accusations as unfounded and said they were being made without credible evidence.

Addressing the issue, Bittu stated that attempts to associate the BJP with the platform’s decision are misleading and should not be presented as facts. He maintained that such claims only create unnecessary confusion and divert attention from the real issues.

The Union Minister said decisions regarding the availability of films or digital content are generally taken by the respective platforms or concerned stakeholders, and it is incorrect to hold a political party responsible without proof.

Bittu also appealed to the public and political leaders to avoid spreading unverified information and encouraged responsible discussion based on facts. He reiterated that political debates should be conducted with accuracy rather than speculation.
