ADC Reviews Preparations for Agniveer Recruitment Rally Beginning July 30
Patiala, July 10:
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mrs. Anuprita Johal reviewed the preparations for Punjab’s largest Agniveer Recruitment Rally, which will be held at Raja Bhalindra Singh Sports Stadium, Patiala, from July 30 to August 10, 2026.
On the occasion, Mrs. Anuprita Johal said that, in line with the directions of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the district administration is committed to providing maximum employment opportunities to the youth of Punjab. She said that all necessary administrative and infrastructural support would be extended to the Indian Army to ensure the successful conduct of the recruitment rally. She also directed the concerned departments to make comprehensive arrangements for the event.
The ADC said that the rally presents a golden opportunity for the youth of Punjab to secure employment. She added that the recruitment rally is being jointly organised by the Patiala Civil Administration and the Army Recruiting Office (ARO), Patiala. In this regard, the Director Recruitment, Army Recruiting Office, Patiala, stated that since this is Punjab’s first and largest recruitment rally, all necessary arrangements are being made to conduct the recruitment process in the most transparent, smooth and secure manner.
Officials from various departments were also present during the meeting.
