MLA Kulwant Singh Pandori, Chairman Dalvir Singh Dhillon Interact with Villagers at Salempur
Reaffirming the Punjab Government’s commitment to transparent, accountable and citizen-centric governance, a Lok Milni programme was organised at village Salempur under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. During the programme, Mehal Kalan MLA Kulwant Singh Pandori and Chairman, Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation, Dalvir Singh Dhillon, interacted with the villagers, listened to their grievances and demands, and assured them of their timely redressal.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Kulwant Singh Pandori said that the Punjab Government is firmly committed to ensuring that people’s grievances are addressed promptly at their doorstep. He said that Lok Milni has emerged as an effective platform for direct interaction between the government and the public, enabling citizens to place their concerns before elected representatives and the administration without having to make repeated visits to government offices. He added that every genuine issue raised by the people would receive due attention and be resolved in a time-bound manner.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Dalvir Singh Dhillon said that the Punjab Government is working tirelessly for the welfare of every section of society while ensuring the speedy resolution of public grievances. He said that the concerns and development-related demands raised by the villagers would be taken up with the concerned departments and addressed on a priority basis. He further stated that the state government remains focused on accelerating development works and delivering efficient, transparent and responsive governance across Punjab.
Among those present were Trade Commission Dhuri Chairman Pushpinder Sharma, Zila Parishad Member Harjinder Singh Kanjhla, Sarpanch of Ghanouri Kalan Amritpal Singh, Sarpanch Manpreet Sharma, Sarpanch Bhim Singh, Panch Harmeil Singh, Jagtar Singh, besides other prominent residents and local dignitaries.
