Waqf Board Member Dr. Anwar Bhasaur Inaugurates Aam Aadmi Clinic at Village Rajindrapuri Ranchna

As part of the Punjab Government’s sustained efforts to ensure better healthcare facilities for every section of society, Waqf Board Member Dr. Anwar Bhasaur today inaugurated a new Aam Aadmi Clinic at Village Rajindrapuri Ranchna. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is taking continuous and effective steps to strengthen the healthcare sector, benefiting lakhs of people across the State.
Dr. Anwar Bhasaur said that Aam Aadmi Clinics have emerged as a boon for the people by providing free medical consultation from qualified doctors, essential medicines and diagnostic laboratory tests. He said that with the addition of 100 more Aam Aadmi Clinics, the total number of such clinics across Punjab has reached 1,090, further strengthening the State’s network of free primary healthcare services.
He further said that more than 5.90 crore patients have so far availed OPD services at Aam Aadmi Clinics, while over 3.43 crore free laboratory tests have been conducted. He added that this initiative has significantly reduced out-of-pocket medical expenses for the public and ensured access to quality healthcare services close to their homes. He also informed that each Aam Aadmi Clinic caters to an average of 84 patients every day, while the network collectively serves more than 83,000 patients daily across Punjab.
Appealing to the public, Dr. Bhasaur urged people to make maximum use of the free healthcare facilities available at Aam Aadmi Clinics and undergo regular health check-ups to contribute towards building a healthier society.
Among those present on the occasion were Block President Gagandeep Jawandha, Manoj Kumar, Jagmeet Singh, members of the Gram Panchayat, prominent residents of the area, party leaders and a large number of villagers.
