In line with the Punjab Government’s commitment under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to strengthen primary healthcare infrastructure and make quality medical services accessible to every citizen, OSD Sukhveer Singh today inaugurated newly established Aam Aadmi Clinics in villages Dhura and Kheri Jattan.
Addressing the gathering, OSD Sukhveer Singh said that the Bhagwant Singh Mann Government has created a new milestone in Punjab’s healthcare sector by dedicating 100 more Aam Aadmi Clinics to the people. With this expansion, the total number of operational Aam Aadmi Clinics across the state has reached 1,090, further reinforcing Punjab’s ongoing “Health Revolution” and strengthening the network of free and quality primary healthcare services.
Highlighting the remarkable impact of the initiative, he said that the Aam Aadmi Clinics have so far registered over 59 million OPD visits and provided more than 34.3 million free laboratory tests, reflecting the growing trust of people in the state’s public healthcare system. Every clinic offers 107 essential medicines and 47 diagnostic laboratory tests free of cost, ensuring accessible and affordable healthcare for all.
