New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has launched a major operation in connection with an alleged cyber terrorism case linked to Operation Sindoor, conducting searches across five states.

The investigation is focused on suspected cyberattacks that allegedly targeted government websites and digital infrastructure. Authorities are examining whether an organised network was involved in attempts to disrupt or compromise government systems.

According to reports, NIA teams carried out searches in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, Bihar and Delhi. Digital devices, documents and other potential evidence are reportedly being examined as part of the investigation.

The case has once again raised concerns about the growing threat of cyberattacks and the role of digital networks in national security.

As the investigation continues, the big question remains: Could more links and major revelations emerge from this alleged cyber network?
